I have read that charcoal grills are not very common in Australia or that there may be burn restrictions. Can I use a charcoal grill and is it easy to buy charcoal in Australia?

Last year I discovered charcoal BBQing, and let me tell you, once you try this you will never want to use your gas BBQ ever again. The difference in flavour is out of this world!
I was just wondering what other charcoal BBQ users here feels is the best brand of charcoal briquettes to buy? I have tried a few, and I am sure there are many more out there. I have noticed a difference from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Which ones are the best?
Thanks.
